Speed Garage #speedgarage
Speed garage is an energetic subgenre of UK Garage that emerged in the mid-1990s, characterized by faster tempos (around 130–140+ BPM), 4/4 "four-on-the-floor" house rhythms, and heavy, warped basslines influenced by jungle and reggae. It often features pitched-up, time-stretched vocals and ragga-style samples, bridging house music with breakbeat, often referred to as "plus-8" or "hardcore" garage.
