J-Tek, also known as Japanese hardtek, is a subgenre derived from European hardtek and J-Core. Unlike European hardtek, it typically uses anime samples and tempos around 190–200.
This subgenre—frequently referred to as "pumpcore"— also blends traditional hardtek with elements of Complextro, Electro House, and dubstep.
